Black Queens nominated for CAF team award
Ghana is one of ten nominees. The nomination recognises the team, but it is not an award win. CAF has set the ceremony for 7 December in Lagos.

Ghana's Black Queens have been nominated for Women's National Team of the Year at the 2026 CAF Awards. CAF published the ten-team nominee list on 3 November, and the Ghana Football Association confirmed Ghana's nomination the same morning.
Who else is nominated?
Ghana joins Algeria, Cape Verde, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Malawi, Mali, Morocco, Nigeria and South Africa on the list.
This is a nomination, not a winner announcement. The source posts checked for this article do not announce a winner or a public voting route.

When are the awards?
CAF's Executive Committee announcement sets the 2026 ceremony for Monday, 7 December, in Lagos, Nigeria.
For supporters in Ghana and abroad, the next thing to watch is CAF's official awards coverage. Do not treat the nominee list as a match fixture, a ticket offer or confirmation that Ghana has won.
